From the airport by bus and train: the AirportLink bus runs every 10 minutes to Puhinui Station, 13 to 20 minutes away, where you change to a train into the city. Buses take no cash, so get an AT HOP card.
Airport shuttle: SkyDrive runs direct from the airport to its stop on Hobson Street by the tower, daily from 05:00 to 22:30.
Taxi: about 45 minutes from the airport, and the fare into the city costs roughly NZ$75.
Bus: city buses stop on Victoria Street West outside the tower, and the InterCity coach terminal is right next to SkyCity.
Car: from the Southern Motorway, take the Nelson Street exit and follow the signs to SkyCity. Its car park has 1,960 spaces and a 2.1 m height limit.
